About Pete Sims (BA Hons, MSc)

My approach is integrative and I will draw on a range of therapeutic approaches and methods to address the individual needs of each client. I am constantly researching and training to ensure I am aware and can use the best practices which are currently available.
I take great care to ensure clients feel safe, welcomed and are able to sense a warm and supportive environment. Clients will be given the highest quality of professional therapy as is possible.
I have a MSc with Distinction in Counselling and will only use the most effective methods and approaches, and which are supported by credible scientific research and evidence.
I am currently undertaking a PhD in the Psychology Department at Bangor University. Whilst developing my own practice, I am also working part-time for the NHS as a professional therapist.
Before booking any sessions with me, I would be happy to discuss any relevant issues, or answer any questions you may have before working together.
I believe quality counselling and psychotherapy should be as readily available to as many people as possible, therefore, I offer a limited number of free therapy spaces for those who can provide proof of being unwaged. Please contact me to discuss.
There will usually be a waiting list for these free sessions.
